- 8 slices traditional cooked ham, cut into 4
- 1 cup (250 ml) cold bechamel sauce
- 1 cup (375 ml) grated cheese (your choice)
- 1 baguette, sliced
- Place baguette slices side by side on a baking sheet and spread with about half the bechamel.
- Place 2 ham slices on each crouton, spread with the remaining sauce and cover with grated cheese.
- Bake 12 minutes or until cheese just starts to bubble.
- Transfer the mini croques to a platter and serve immediately.
