Jumbo hot dog with salsa cruda
- 1 package of jumbo wieners (6)
- 5 medium orange tomatoes
- 1 small white onion, finely chopped
- 1 peach, peeled and chopped
- 1 jalapen᷉o pepper, finely chopped
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 handful of fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 tbsp. (15 ml) of olive oil
- Softened butter
- 6 rustic hot dog buns
- Salt and pepper
- Deseed the tomatoes, chop them with a knife and place them in a bowl.
- Add the onion, peach, lime juice and cilantro and salt and pepper to taste. Stir in olive oil and mix - thoroughly.
- Cook the wieners on the BBQ as per package instructions.
- Butter and grill the hot dog buns.
- Place a wiener in each bun, top with a generous serving of salsa cruda and serve immediately.
