This is the deluxe BLT recipe. Build it up on a baguette with bacon topped with goat cheese. Admit it, it sounds awesome.

  • 8 slices applewood Smoke Flavour Bacon
  • 2 mini-baguettes, sliced in half
  • to taste fresh basil, chopped
  • 200 g goat cheese, sliced
  • to taste dried oregano
  • to taste pepper
  • 2 italian tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • 16 slices applewood Smoke Flavour Bacon
  • 4 mini-baguettes, sliced in half
  • to taste fresh basil, chopped
  • 400 g goat cheese, sliced
  • to taste dried oregano
  • to taste pepper
  • 4 italian tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • 24 slices applewood Smoke Flavour Bacon
  • 6 mini-baguettes, sliced in half
  • to taste fresh basil, chopped
  • 600 g goat cheese, sliced
  • to taste dried oregano
  • to taste pepper
  • 6 italian tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • 32 slices applewood Smoke Flavour Bacon
  • 8 mini-baguettes, sliced in half
  • to taste fresh basil, chopped
  • 800 g goat cheese, sliced
  • to taste dried oregano
  • to taste pepper
  • 8 italian tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • 16 slices of naturally smoked bacon
  • 4 mini-baguettes sliced in half
  • 400 g of goat cheese sliced
  • 4 italian tomatoes thinly sliced
  • 80 ml of olive oil
  • Fresh leaves of Basil
  • Dried Origano
  • Ground pepper

instructions

  1. Cook the bacon slices and drain well
  2. Put mini-baguettes on a baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil. Top with sliced tomatoes, basil and oregano. Season with pepper; add bacon and cheese.
  3. Cook at 375˚F (190˚C) until cheese melts.
