- 5 slices bacon, cooked
- ¾ cup (180 ml) sharp cheddar, grated
- 2 slices double rye or pumpernickel, toasted
- 1 tbsp. (15 ml) Dijon mustard
- Cut bacon slices into 3.
- Place bread slices on a baking sheet, spread with a thin layer of mustard and top with half the bacon.
- Cover with grated cheese, then the remaining bacon. Turn oven to broil and place baking sheet on top oven rack. Broil until cheese is melted.
- Serve immediately.
