ingredients

  • 1 baguette
  • 3 to 4 tbsp of cowboy butter (see ingredients below)
  • 6 to 8 slices of Olymel ham
  • 2 to 3 pickles, sliced

Cowboy Butter:

  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped roasted red pepper
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika or mild chili powder
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

instructions

  1. Slice the baguette in half lengthwise to create 2 portions. Lightly toast the bread in a skillet or toaster until warm and slightly crispy.
  2. Generously spread the warm cowboy butter over the toasted bread so it melts slightly.
  3. Fold the slices of ham and arrange them neatly over the buttered bread.
  4. Top with the sliced pickles.
