Ham & Cowboy Butter Tartine

ingredients
- 1 baguette
- 3 to 4 tbsp of cowboy butter (see ingredients below)
- 6 to 8 slices of Olymel ham
- 2 to 3 pickles, sliced
Cowboy Butter:
- 1/2 cup softened butter
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives
- 1 tbsp finely chopped roasted red pepper
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika or mild chili powder
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
instructions
- Slice the baguette in half lengthwise to create 2 portions. Lightly toast the bread in a skillet or toaster until warm and slightly crispy.
- Generously spread the warm cowboy butter over the toasted bread so it melts slightly.
- Fold the slices of ham and arrange them neatly over the buttered bread.
- Top with the sliced pickles.
