ingredients
- 500 g Olymel ground turkey
- 4 slices of Olymel bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 egg
- 50 g breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 4 slices of cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or other)
- 4 brioche burger buns
Toppings: (Optional)
- 4 slices of cooked Olymel bacon
- 1 red onion, sliced
- 1 large dill pickle, sliced
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 1 tomato, sliced
- Sauce (mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, or other of choice)
instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, crumbled bacon, egg, breadcrumbs, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
- Form 4 equal-sized patties and place them on a plate. Let them rest in the refrigerator for 15 minutes to help them hold together during cooking.
- Cook the patties: Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat with a little oil. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, until they reach an internal temperature of 74°C (165°F).
- Add a slice of cheese to each patty at the end of cooking to allow it to melt slightly.
- Lightly toast the buns and assemble your burger with the condiments and toppings of your choice.
- Serve with fries, chips, or a salad on the side.
