So it's your parents' 25th anniversary? We've just celebrated our 25th, too! When you pass the hors oeuvres, make sure to include these date and bacon bites with their irresistible sweet & salty taste. Opposites attract!


  • 100 ml liquid honey
  • 1 package (375 g) applewood Smoke Flavour Bacon
  • 250 g (1 cup) dates
  • to taste rosemary
  • 250g of dates
  • 1 pack (375 g) of naturally smoked bacon
  • 100ml honey
  • A few sprig of rosemary


  1. Cook the bacon in the frying pan until mid-point of cooking, sponge the bacon with a paper towel, then cut each slice in two.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 °F (178 °C). Wrap each date with a slice of bacon, insert a branch of rosemary inside and hold in position with a toothpick.
  3. Place each bite on a plate covered with aluminum foil or parchment paper and brush with honey. Bake for 5 to 7 minutes
