Quick tortellini gratin with Smart & Natural Black Forest smoked ham

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.

Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat. Cook the onion and garlic for 2 to 3 minutes. Add the smoked ham strips and cook for another 2 minutes.

Pour the tomato sauce into the skillet, season with pepper and adjust the salt if necessary. Add the chili flakes, if desired.

Cook the tortellini in a pot of boiling salted water according to the package directions (they can remain slightly firm, as they will finish cooking in the oven). Drain.

Mix the tortellini with the smoked ham sauce, then pour into the baking dish. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.

Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbling around the edges. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
