Mini puff pastries with Spicy Italian sausages and grilled vegetables

• Preheat oven to 400 °F (205 °C).

• On baking sheet, mix vegetables with 2 tbsp. (30 ml) oil. Add salt and pepper. Grill vegetables in oven 10 to 15 minutes (or until nicely grilled), stirring from time to time. Add garlic, mix and cook five minutes.

• Cool down, cut in small dice and set aside.

Mini Puff Pastries

• In frying pan, cook diced sausage and add grilled vegetables; remove from heat and add fresh chopped basil.

• Roll dough on floured surface, cut into 24 circles or squares about 10 cm in size and brush with glaze.

• Top half of dough with a bit of tomato sauce (5 ml), sausage mix and a bit of cheese. Fold dough, carefully press edges with fork, place on pizza pan and brush with glaze. Cook in oven at 400 °F (205 °C) approximately 10 minutes. Remove from oven and serve hot.
