Ahh, Cuba! Rum, mambo, beaches, cigars. Naturally, there's none of that whatsoever in our Cuban sandwich with BBQ pulled pork, but the taste will definitely have you dreaming of Cuba!

ingredients

  • 22 ml (1 1/2 tablespoon) butter, melted or olive oil
  • 3 dill pickles, sliced
  • 1/2 pack (200 g) Olymel BBQ pulled pork
  • 125 g (1/2 cup) Swiss cheese, sliced
  • to taste Dijon mustard
  • 2 15-cm submarine buns
  • 45 ml (3 tablespoon) butter, melted or olive oil
  • 6 dill pickles, sliced
  • 1 pack (400 g) Olymel BBQ pulled pork
  • 250 g (1 cup) Swiss cheese, sliced
  • to taste Dijon mustard
  • 4 15-cm submarine buns
  • 68 ml (1/4 cup) butter, melted or olive oil
  • 9 dill pickles, sliced
  • 1 1/2 packs (600 g) Olymel BBQ pulled pork
  • 375 g (1 1/2 cups) Swiss cheese, sliced
  • to taste Dijon mustard
  • 6 15-cm submarine buns
  • 88 ml (1/3 to taste) butter, melted or olive oil
  • 12 dill pickles, sliced
  • 2 packs (800 g) Olymel BBQ pulled pork
  • 500 g (2 cups) Swiss cheese, sliced
  • to taste Dijon mustard
  • 8 15-cm submarine buns
  • 1 package of Olymel BBQ pulled pork, 400g
  • 4 15-cm submarine buns
  • 45 ml melted butter or olive oil
  • 250 g Swiss cheese, sliced
  • 6 dill pickles, sliced
  • prepared mustard

instructions

  1. Cook pulled pork according to directions on package. Cut buns in half and brush insides with half the melted butter.
  2. Preheat grill or frying pan and toast inside surfaces of buns till golden. Brush with mustard. Fill buns with hot pulled pork, add cheese and finish with sliced pickles.
  3. Melt rest of butter in a large frying pan. Toast filled sandwiches over medium-high heat, pressing down lightly, and turning when half done, till buns are crisp. Serve immediately.
