- 1 piece of Olymel Traditional smoked ham, approximately 1 kg (2.2 lb)
- 500ml (2 cups) pure orange juice
- 500ml (2 cups) chicken broth
- 20 - 24 dried figs
- v2 shallots, chopped
- Salt and ground black pepper to taste
- 15ml (1 tablespoon) fresh, chopped ginger, or 5ml (1 teaspoon) ground ginger

- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Place the ham in a roaster. Then add the orange juice, broth, figs, shallots, salt and pepper.
- Sprinkle with ginger, cover and bake in the oven for 45 minutes.
Serve the ham sliced with figs and in its own juices.
