- 22ml (1 ˝ tablespoons) olive oil
- 30ml (2 tablespoons) onion, chopped
- ˝ green pepper, cut into strips
- 250ml (1 cup) mushrooms, sliced
- 125ml (˝ cup) pizza sauce
- 4 large hotdog buns
- 250ml (1 cup) mozzarella cheese, grated
- 4 Olymel Original smoked sausages

- Preheat the barbecue to medium heat.
- In a frying pan, heat the oil and brown the vegetables. Cook for 2 – 3 minutes.
- Meanwhile, grill the sausages.
- Paste the pizza sauce over the inside of the hotdog buns.
- Place a grilled sausage in each bun, add the vegetables and cover with cheese.
- Place the garnished hotdogs on aluminum foil and cook on the barbecue at a low heat until the bread turns golden and the cheese has melted.
Serve immediately and accompany with a vegetable salad. |
