Are excluded employees, agents and representatives of Contest Organizers, their affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies, suppliers of material, prizes and services in connection with this Contest or any member of their immediate family (father, mother, brothers, sisters, children), their legal or common-law spouse, and individuals with whom such employees, representatives and agents reside. Olymel has the right at any time to require proof of identity or eligibility from any Entrant in order for him/her to participate in the contest. Failure to provide such proof within a reasonable period of time could result in disqualification. All information supplied to Olymel for the purpose of this Contest must be truthful, accurate and complete. Olymel reserves the right to disqualify any participant should the Entry Form (hereinafter defined) be untruthful, inaccurate or incomplete. GRAND PRIZE DESCRIPTION The Grand Prize consists in a five (5) day, four (4) night trip for two (2) to Italy. Grand Prize includes: Return airfare in economy class; Four (4) nights lodging in standard double occupancy. The Grand Prize winner must choose one (1) travel companion at his/her discretion and ensure that said companion has reached the age of majority in his/her province of residence by the date of departure. The winner and his/her guest must obtain valid travel documents entitling them by law to leave and re-enter Canada, and must have valid passports (up to six (6) months after travel return date), as well as any visa, permit or certificate, including vaccine certificates and insurance documents, required for travel. The winner and his/her companion are solely responsible for obtaining said documents at their own expense. All reservations related to this trip must be made by the winner. The winner and his/her companion will be responsible for all costs including, but not limited to, visas, passports, arrangements prior to and following travel, transportation between the winner's home and the departure airport, meals, telephone, fax and cable charges, personal expenditures and other expenses such as laundry, room service, valet service, tips, optional excursions, insurance, medical expenses, incidental expenses as well as all other fees not specifically included in the Grand Prize description. Total value of the Grand Prize is $5,000 CDN to be awarded as a cheque issued by the contest agency. DEADLINES FOR ENTRY The Contest opens on Monday, May 12, 2008 and ends on Monday, June 30, 2008 at 11:59 pm (EDT). HOW TO ENTER To enter the contest, Entrants must first purchase any package of Olymel European Sausages (Olymel Mild Italian European Sausages 450g, Olymel Spicy Italian European Sausages 450g, Olymel Mild Toulouse European Sausages 450g, Olymel Spicy Toulouse European Sausages 450g, Olymel Sundried Tomatoes & Basil European Sausages 450g, Olymel Honey & Garlic European Sausages 450g, Olymel Cheddar & Bacon European Sausages 450g, Olymel Merguez European Sausages 375g) specially identified by a "Grillez à l'européenne" Contest promotional sticker, available in participating Quebec groceries from May 12 to June 30, 2008 or until stocks of participating products run out, whichever comes first. The Entrant must remove the on-pack sticker from participating product to obtain the alphanumerical code needed to enter the Contest. In order to complete their Entry and to validate the alphanumerical code from the on-pack sticker off a participating product, Entrants must visit the "Grillez à l'européenne" Contest Page on the www.olymel.com website, to fill out the online Entry Form providing their first names, last name, age, address, telephone number, e-mail address, as well as the alphanumerical code from a participating product. All Entries must be made online no later than June 30, 2008 at 11:59 pm (EDT). To enter the Contest without the purchase of a participating Olymel product, Entrants must send an original 50-word essay, not reproduced mechanically, explaining why they would like to win a trip to Italy thanks to the "Grillez à l'européenne" Contest and mail it no later than June 30, 2008 (the postmark bearing proof) to: "Grillez à l'européenne Contest", P.O. Box 385, Station St-Martin, Laval, Qc, H7V 3P6. They must also provide their first and last names, age, address and telephone number. If all conditions of these Rules are respected, Contest Organizers will select at random an alphanumerical code for the Entrant and enter him/her into the contest draw. All additional no-purchase Entry Request must be mailed separately. Participants must respect the following Entry limits or risk being disqualified: One Entry per person, per alphanumerical code, per email address; Only one e-mail address may be used by the Entrant during the Contest Period; One no-purchase Entry per person, per day during the promotion. PRIZE WINNER SELECTION Grand Prize draw: On Monday, July 7, 2008 at 10:00 am (EDT), a random draw from among all participants who entered online and validated an alphanumerical code, or for whom an alphanumerical code was validated as set forth in paragraph 11 of these Rules, will take place in the offices of Olymel's promotional agency located in Laval, to select a potential Grand Prize winner. The finalist will be contacted by phone on July 7, 2008, immediately following the draw. To be declared the winner, the finalist must comply with these Contest Rules as well as correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question, without the assistance of any mechanical, electronic or similar device. If the Entrant correctly answers the skill-testing question as well as fills out and signs a Declaration and Release Form within the period specified, the agency will make all the needed arrangements to award the Grand Prize to the winner. In the event the agency is unable to notify the Finalist within three (3) days of the official Contest Draw (hereinabove described), an alternate Finalist will be selected until a selected Entrant is finally declared the winner. The agency will notify the potential winner by fax or email. A completed and signed Declaration and Release Form must be received by the agency, by fax or email, within ten (10) business days after the date it is sent. Failing to comply with one or more of the conditions mentioned above, the selected Entrant will be disqualified and will forfeit his/her prize. In such a case, Contest Organizers will hold a new random draw, if time allows, to award the Grand Prize, until an official winner is declared. Entry Forms and alphanumerical codes are subject to verification by Contest Organizers. Any Entry Form or code that is, as the case may be, late, incomplete or falsified, that bears an incorrect skill-testing answer or that fails to comply in any respect with these Rules, can be declared invalid and, in such case, may not entitle the Entrant to an Entry or a prize. The winner agrees to the prize as awarded. The prize cannot be transferred or exchanged. The winner will receive $5,000 awarded by cheque. In the event that, for any reason whatsoever, the prize or part thereof is unavailable, Contest Organizers reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to substitute a prize of the same nature or equivalent value. For Quebec residents, any litigation respecting the conduct or organisation of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement. Contest organizers reserve the right to disqualify a person or cancel one or several Entries of a person who enters or attempts to enter the Contest by means contrary to these Contest Rules or in a manner which is unfair to the other Entrants (e.g. computer hacking or invalid email address). Such a person could be reported to the competent legal authorities. Before they declare a winner, Contest Organizers reserve the right to verify all Entries from this person. Odds of winning the Grand Prize will be determined by the total number of eligible Entry Forms and no-purchase Entries received during the Contest Period, as set forth in paragraph 11 of these Rules. Olymel and its affiliated companies assume no responsibility for late, lost, stolen, delayed, illegible, incomplete, or misdirected Entry forms or alphanumerical codes, or human error, or technical malfunctions, including but not limited to inability to access the website, lost, delayed or incorrect data transmission, interruption or failure, other electronic malfunctions, computer or telephone hardware or software failures, malfunctions or garbled transmissions. Contest Organizers, their subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, their employees, agents and representatives are not liable for faulty computer components, software, or communication lines, relating to the loss or absence of network communication or relating to any transmission that is faulty, incomplete, incomprehensible, or erased by any computer or any network that could limit the possibility or prevent any person from entering the contest. Contest Organizers, their subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, their employees, agents and representatives disclaim any responsibility for any damage or loss incurred, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, by the downloading of any software or any form and by the transmission of any data relating to contest participation. Contest Organizers reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this contest, in whole or in part, in the case where an event or any human intervention could corrupt or affect the administration, safety, impartiality or the normal running of the contest as foreseen in these contest rules, subject to the approval of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux of Quebec, if required. In any case, Contest organizers, their subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, suppliers of products, material or services relating to the contest as well as their employees, agents and representatives, will not be held responsible to award more prizes than the number of prizes indicated in these Contest Rules or to award the prize otherwise than in compliance with these Contest Rules. Any attempt by an Entrant to deliberately sabotage the web site or to impair the legitimate operation of this Contest will result in disqualification. Olymel reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law. Further, Olymel, its affiliated companies or their respective franchises, their advertising and promotional agencies as well as their respective agents, directors, officers, employees and representatives, cannot be held liable for any injury, loss or damage of any kind, including personal injury, death, or property damage, resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the Grand Prize. In order to claim a prize, each potential winner must sign a Declaration and Release Form to the satisfaction of Olymel, confirming that he/she has complied with the present Contest Rules; that he/she agrees to the prize; that he/she authorizes Olymel, its affiliated companies and their respective franchisees to use, if desired, his/her name, photograph and/or video image for publicity purposes; and that releases Olymel, its affiliated companies, their franchisees, their respective advertising and promotional agencies, the contest judges as well as their respective agents, directors, administrators, employees and representatives of any damages, expenses or claims resulting to, in relation with or following their Entry into this Contest or use of the Grand Prize. The random draw will be held among all the Entrants who submitted an eligible Entry during the Contest period defined in these Rules. Any litigation respecting the conduct or organisation of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. All requests must be received by September 1st, 2008. USE OF INFORMATION PROVIDED BY ENTRANTS Selected Entrants cannot hold Contest Organizers, their advertising and promotional agencies, and their employees, agents and representatives liable for any damages related to the acceptance or use of their prize. To be declared the winner and prior to delivery of his/her prize, the potential winner will be required to sign and return a Declaration and Release Form to that effect. By entering, each Entrant agrees to abide by the Contest Rules and the decisions of Olymel, which are final and binding in all respects. All Entries become the property of Olymel and none will be returned. No correspondence pertaining to the Contest will be entered into except with the selected Entrants. ELIGIBILITY
